Strawberry & Coconut Oatmeal Bowl

Want to up your oatmeal breakfast game? Try adding a homemade strawberry coulis to your coconut milk oatmeal and you have a match made in heaven!

I love starting off my day with a warm bowl of oatmeal. Oats are high in fibre which will help to keep you satiated for a few hours. If you prefer your oatmeal cold, you can prepare this the night before and bring it to work with you the next day, makes for a delicious breakfast or snack.

Strawberry & Coconut Oatmeal Bowl

Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 10 minutes


  • 1 1/2 cup Strawberries sliced in halves
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 1/4 cup Large flake oats
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Coconut milk full fat
  • 1 tbsp Raw honey


  • In a small pot, add 1 cup of sliced strawberries (save 1/2 cup for later). Mix in water, sugar and lemon juice and bring to a boil on high heat. Reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes or until desired consistency. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • In a separate pot, combine oats, milk and coconut milk and cook on medium/high heat until oats are fully cooked.
  • Top with strawberry coulis from step 1 and add other toppings as desired!
